About this guy…
I have been an athlete my whole life, and participated in soccer, lacrosse and track during high school in upstate NY and continued to improve my soccer skills during college. I’m always trying to stay active with other sports such as snowboarding, mountain biking, swimming, surfing and numerous other adrenaline surging exploits. When I discovered CrossFit in April of 2009 I was coming off a soccer injury and years of “lifting” at the local globo gyms, needless to say, I got my butt kicked when I stepped into Bayou City CrossFit, but I was hooked! My first WOD left me unable to straighten my arms from so many pull ups, but I loved it and couldn’t stay away! I love that it is about the community, and I look forward to helping others conquer their goals. It’s also become a sport for me, as I enjoy the competitive aspect and still gets butterflies in my stomach driving to the gym!
I love the people that I’ve met since I’ve started and I love how it’s changed my life! I’ve been coaching full time for more than a year now at Bayou City CrossFit. Vic, Charlie and myself have started a second CrossFit affiliate which is located in the heart of midtown. Pin Up CrossFit is growing steadily and we are going to take midtown by storm!
